The 'Christmas Bonuses' campaign kicks off to boost local businesses in Colmenar Viejo

Colmenar Viejo has launched a new edition of its 'Christmas Bonuses' campaign, an initiative by the Town Hall and ASEYACOVI aimed at encouraging Christmas shopping in local businesses. From November 10th to December 10th, residents can participate in a raffle that will award 125 bonuses of €600 each to shoppers at participating establishments.

According to Susana Jiménez Aibar , the Councilor for Business Development, Economy, and Employment, this campaign aims to encourage residents to shop at local stores and small businesses. “Each purchase can be a chance to win one of these vouchers, which can be redeemed both during the Christmas season and the New Year's sales,” she explained. The initiative also seeks to boost spending in January, one of the most challenging months for retailers.

How to participate

For every €20 spent, customers will receive one entry ticket for the prize draw (up to a maximum of five per purchase). Once completed, the ticket must be deposited in the ballot boxes at participating stores.

The public draw will be held on December 18th and will be broadcast live. The 125 winning tickets will be drawn, along with alternates in case any winner cannot be contacted. To ensure the transparency of the process, the draw will be officially supervised by personnel independent of the organizing entities.

After being contacted, the winners will be able to consult the list of businesses where they can redeem their prize. They can spend their €600 until January 30, 2026, spending a minimum of €50 per establishment and subject to prior validation by ASEYACOVI.
