Next Saturday, December 20th, Colmenar Viejo will host a new edition of the Producers' Market , this time in a special Christmas format, with activities for all ages and a local gastronomic offering.

The market will be held in the Plaza de Toros esplanade , from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , and will bring together producers and farmers who will offer a wide variety of food and fresh products from the area.

In addition, the event will feature the Artisans' Market , organized by the Colmenar Viejo Artisans Association (ASARCO), with the participation of seven stalls with local crafts.

As Susana Jiménez Aibar, Third Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Business Development, Economy and Employment, pointed out: " With the Producers' Market, we want to bring local and artisanal foods closer to our residents, supporting small producers and promoting responsible and local consumption. From golden honey to artisanal cheeses, and including meats and wines from the region, this initiative highlights the gastronomic richness of our land and the quality of those who work it every day."

🎄 Special Christmas Show Cooking

New this Christmas edition, the market will feature a live cooking demonstration by Celeste García de la Banda, who will prepare a complete menu with local products, cooking in collaboration with the producers themselves.

Producers and family atmosphere

This edition will feature 30 producers, and attendees will be able to enjoy:

  • A family and festive atmosphere

Among the participants are six companies from Colmenar Viejo that already have active listings in the "Everything is in Colmenar Viejo" directory. All of them can be found along the "Producers' Market" route , a selection that makes it easy to discover the local producers participating in this event, learn about their activities, and locate their businesses before or after visiting the market.
